What is a Community Partner?

Community Partners are groups within a community that have demonstrated their dedication to high performance, sustainable residential construction by agreeing to provide local contact and support for the NC HealthyBuilt Homes Program to local builders and developers. The groups act as the staff for the local program, providing many services that would otherwise be provided by the statewide HealthyBuilt Homes (HBH) program staff. The statewide staff assists the community partner groups with marketing, education and program content, provides quality review of their work and continues to provide the actual certificate for each new HealthyBuilt Home.

By choosing to be a HBH Community Partner, these organizations are actively demonstrating their commitment to the local people, environment and economy.
